Editor's Notes: James Rogers Haworth, in his book "George Haworth And Some of His Descendants", included a history of the Haworths in England, written by Wilson Haworth. Wilson Haworth had written to Judge J. H. Henderson, of Indianola, Iowa, dated July 9, 1891. Judge Henderson was a well known Haworth descendant and very active in the events that lead up to the first national reunion, held in 1899. Judge Henderson was active in subsequent reunions.
George Haworth, the emigrant, is shown on page 78 of the book as the second generation. John Haworth, who migrated to America in 1768 is shown on page 79 as the fourth generation. Ron Haworth, editor.
