HAWORTH--Funeral services for Alphonso Haworth, 93, of Mayport, who died Sunday after a long illness, will be held at 11 A. M., today at the graveside in Mayport Cemetery, with the Rev. J. Hannewald officiating. Mr. Haworth is survived by four sons, F. D., A. T., H. L., and L. A. Haworth; one daughter, Mrs. J. R. Arnau, all of Mayport; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Elliott Funeral Home.

Pioneer Resident of Mayport Dies
Mrs. Ruth E. Haworth, 73, of Mayport, died Sunday. She was a pioneer resident of Mayport and had been a resident for 53 years. She came to Mayport from Liberty, N. C.
She is survived by her widower, Alfonso [sic] Haworth; two daughters, Mrs. C. A. Anderson and Mrs. J. R. Arnau; four sons, T. D. Haworth, L. A. Haworth, A. T. Haworth, of Mayport, and H. R. Haworth, of Hickery [sic], N. C.; two brothers, Frank Williams and Murphy Williams, of Liberty, N. C., and 11 grandchildren.
The body will be at the family residence at Mayport until Tuesday afternoon when burial will take place. Arrangements are in the charge of the Elliott Funeral home.

Mrs. Lillie Anderson Dies, Funeral Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie May Anderson, 55, of Mayport, who died early yesterday in a Jacksonville hospital following a brief illness, will be held at 3 P. M. today in the chapel of the Elliott Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl R. Leavitt, associate pastor of the Edgewood Avenue Christian Church, will officiate.
Pallbearers will be: Dr. E. B. Pritchard, Judge James L. Gavagan, R. M. Coleman, W. Howard Belote, Walter Floyd, Henry McDonald, W. P. Chambers and Neal Tyler. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was a life-long resident of Duval County and she and her husband, Charles A. Anderson, operated The Shack at Seminole Beach. Besides her husband, Mrs. Anderson is survived by her father, Alfonso [sic] Haworth; four brothers, Addison, Linden and Fred Haworth of Mayport, and Roy Haworth of Hickory, N. C., and one sister, Mrs. Nora Arnau, Mayport. Mrs. Anderson was a life member of the Christian Church.
