This picture came from Marilyn London Winton Totten, grand daughter of Edgar Haworth. It is a picture of Joel Robbins, on his 80th birthday, 1904.
Joel, who bought the farm in 1856, was born near Asheville, North Carolina in 1824, and died in the Horton farm house in 1913.
He is pictured with his only child, Mary Ellen Robbins Haworth, wife of Stephen Haworth, and her family. Stephen died of pneumonia in 1900.
