(5) ? According to a letter written to Mr. Davis by Isaac Posegate(5), son of Charity (Haworth) Posegate(4), James(3), James(2), George(1) , Samuel Haworth(4) had a daughter Rebecca, who married Eli Posegate a Virginian and brother of Charity's husband, Thomas Posegate.

? John H. Henderson mentioned in his letter Jeremiah M. Haworth, son of Samuel and said he was 82 years old in 1906, and that John H, was 74. Putting all those fragments of information together gives the names of five of Samuel's children and the ages of three of them so a tentative list of them would read something like the following:

(4) 10. DILLON HAW0RTH, 10th child of George and Susannah (Dillon) Haworth, was born June 30, 1800 in Greene Co., Tennessee and died in Warren Co., Iowa Feb. 19, 1882. He moved with his parents to Ohio in 1803. Leaving Clinton Co., Ohio in 1815 he went to Illinois for a short time. From there he returned as far east as White Water, Indiana where at the age of 18 he married his first wife, MARY

WRIGHT, the daughter of Isaac and Susannah (Haworth) Wright. Susannah(4), See pages 78 to 82 Vol. 1, was Dillon's cousin, the daughter of his uncle, Richard Haworth(3), whose wife Anna (Dillon) Haworth may have been the sister of Dillon's mother, Susannah (Dillon) Haworth. At least the bride and groom were second cousins. Mary (Wright) Haworth(5) died about 1821 leaving two daughters. Oct. 28, 1826 Dillon Haworth married 2nd Mary Myers and had 11 other children, Mary (Myers) Haworth died Mar. 16, 1890. In 1845 the Dillon Haworths moved to Iowa, stopping first in Keokuk Co., where his brother John had settled in l840. In January of 1846 the family went on to Warren County where Dillon took up a claim a mile and a half east of Ackworth. They moved onto the claim in March living in a clapboard roof tent until they could build a house. Grass was green and the country beautiful for a few days, then came a blizzard with three feet of snow and no protection at all for their cattle. They survived the storm, and Dillon prospered, eventually acquiring over 400 acres of land which he held until his death in 1882 at the age of 82 years. He was the father of 13 children and had 79 grandchildren.
